They Told Me I Was Small

They told me I knew nothing

I became the fabric of all things

They told me I could not speak

I became silence

They told me I was not enough

I became the sunlight

They told me I must fear

I became freedom itself

They told me I must weep

I became a thousand rainbows

on each tear drop,

They told me I must have

I became the wealthiest of them all

They told me I had four limbs

I became limb-less

They told me I was thirsty

I became the endless ocean

They told me I was empty

I became the soul of the soul

They told me I was tired

I became the path

They told me I was foolish

I became knowledge

They told me I was at war

I became my enemy

They told me I was alone

I became my Friend

They told me I can not

I became victory itself

They told me lies

I became the truth

They told me I was small

I became infinite.
